The Pontchartrain Center in Kenner was the site of the 2015 FIRST Robotics Bayou Regional. Teams from Louisiana were joined by teams from all over the United States and one team from Mexico in their pursuit to qualify for a chance to compete in the St Louis World Championships.
Thanks to API-Delta member support, API-Delta once again was able to be a Gold Sponsor for the 9th Annual FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and Junior FIRST LEGO League tournament. This year, the event was held at Holy Cross High School in New Orleans on Saturday, December 10, 2011.
Once again, API - Delta participated as a Gold Sponsor for the FIRST LEGO League and Junior FIRST Lego League competitions. This year the Louisiana championship tournament was held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Dominican High School.
Once again the stands were filled with supporting fans at The FIRST Robotics Bayou Regional Robotics Competition which was held March 19-21, 2009. This year the tournament was held at the UNO Arena. Thirty-Four teams from nine different states competed in the tournament.
API – Delta Chapter, and several other petroleum industry societies and organizations volunteered their time and/or monies to sponsor the BLAST/FIRST LEGO League Louisiana Championship Tournament again this year.
