2010 API Golf Tournament

The 2010 API Delta Chapter Golf tournament held on September 17th at the Covington Country Club was a huge success!!   Despite the current economic environment and drilling moratorium, 39 teams participated in the popular two-round tournament.   There were plenty of cool beverages and delicious food to make this an enjoyable event for all in spite of the South Louisiana heat and humidity.   The API Golf Committee would like to thank everyone involved in helping make the 2010 API Delta Chapter Golf Tournament a success!

Through the generosity of all the corporate, team and hole sponsors we were able to raise over $18,000 dollars.   The proceeds will be used for our scholarship program, teacher mini- grants, the Louisiana Children's Museum, and the other opportunities to promote education and the Petroleum Industry in the Greater New Orleans area. &nbps; We could not have achieved this without your support and we are truly thankful!!

We hope to see you all at next year's 2011 API Delta Chapter Golf Tournament to be held on September 16th once again at Covington Country Club!
