The “Who Dat” Development – Evolution of a Project from Lease Sale to First Production
KEY NOTE SPEAKERS:
Rick Fowler is the Vice President of Deepwater Projects for LLOG Exploration. In December, 2011, LLOG exploration successfully initiated production from the “Who Dat” development in Mississippi Canyon 503/504/547. The Who Dat Project was named by Offshore Magazine as one of the top 5 offshore projects in the world for 2011. This presentation will provide an overview on all phases of the Who Dat development including prospect identification, lease acquisition, exploration, delineation, concept selection and project execution.
In his career, Rick has been involved in six GOM projects using new floating production systems (FPS) and numerous subsea tieback projects. Rick has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University. Rick is currently Vice Chairman for the API Delta Chapter and serves on the board of the Gulf of Mexico Foundation.
