Dear Petroleum Industry Sporting Clays Enthusiast:

The American Petroleum Institute’s Delta Chapter is pleased to announce the 10th Annual Father-Son & Family Sporting Clays Tournament, which is to be held April 25th & 26th, 2014 at Covey Rise Lodge located in Husser, LA. The annual API Sporting Clay Tournament promotes friendly competition, fellowship and sporting clay skills to our oil field industry participants and their families.

This event offers a wide range of competition for both the family and the individual. In the interest of safety, participants must be 15 years or older. The tournament opens at noon on Friday, April 25th with registration, a 50 target practice course until 6:00 p.m. On Saturday, April 26th registration will resume at 8:00 a.m. followed by the main event which will consist of two 100 target rounds of sporting clays. Team shooting times are 9:00 a.m. and 1 :00 p.m. Shooters should be ready 30 minutes prior to flight time scheduled. The 5-Stand, Flurry and Long Bird will close at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and “no refunds will be given”. The main event will present a multi-stand 100 clays course. Awards will go to high individual and team winners based on Lewis Class Scoring. Additionally, top scores in 5-Stand, Two-Person Flurry and Long Bird will receive awards.

We invite you to join us for a fun-filled day where families can participate plus build memorable traditions. Refreshments, snacks and lunch will be on hand for the event participants. API-Delta Chapter is dedicated to informing everyone on the importance of the petroleum industry and the many career opportunities available. Proceeds from the Tournament are used to fund key community programs, awards, scholarships and the ongoing promotion of the oil and gas industry in schools & universities. Without your support this would not be possible.

Your participation in the success of our Sporting Clays Tournament is needed and sincerely appreciated. For tournament information please contact any member of the committee or Bob Bailey (504) 577-1249 rbailey@martexllc.com.
