2008 Greater New Orleans Science & Engineering Fair

The Greater New Orleans Science and Engineering Fair was held on March 15th at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. API judged the Senior Division of the Energy Category. The winners, their teachers, and schools were recognized and presented awards on March 17th.

The Distinguished Project Award went to Nathan Melancon for "How Do Solar Cells and PEM Hydrogen Fuel Cells Work Compared with Running and Not Running Electrical Device?" Nathan received $100 along with his teacher Cathy Boucvalt . A donation of $200 was made to John Curtis Christian School.

The Honorable Mention Award went to MiMi Pham for "Don't Steal My Sunshine!" MiMi received $50 along with his teacher Cathy Boucvalt. A donation of $100 was made to John Curtis Christian School.
