PROCESS DESIGN ENGINEER |
| JOB DESCRIPTION: |
The process design engineer will be involved in the design of
production facilities for offshore and onshore platforms to process
natural gas, oil, and water. The engineer will develop the design
basis, design the process system, and select auxiliary mechanical
equipment and systems. |
| EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: |
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
required for entry level position. |
| ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: |
Knowledge of computer systems desirable. |
| ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: |
Engineering management promoted from within. Entry level may
advance as consulting specialists or project supervisors. |
| ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: |
In addition, will assist electrical engineers in the design of
electrical distribution, fire protection, and safety systems on
offshore drilling rigs and production platforms. Will work with
construction engineers during fabrication and offshore installation
of the structure. |
