JOB DESCRIPTION: | To design automation and measurement system for oil, gas, and chemical facilities, or marine construction equipment such as derrick barges, lay barges, jet barges, dredges, tugs, and similar vessels. |
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: | B.S. in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering. |
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: | Register Professional/Charter Engineer |
ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: | Through various levels of instrumentation engineer. |
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: | This position is related to the preparation of cost estimates covering electrical, thermal, and mechanical instruments, performance of instrument engineering calculations, preparation of specifications proving instrument engineering technical direction to drafting departing. |
