The 2009 API Golf tournament held on September 18, 2009, at the Covington Country Club was a huge success!! Over 45 teams participated in the popular two round event. There were plenty of cool beverages and delicious food to make this an enjoyable event for all in spite of the South Louisiana heat and humidity and soggy course conditions. The API Golf Committee would like to thank everyone involved in helping to make the 2008 API Delta Chapter Golf Tournament held on September 26th at Covington Country Club a great success!
We were able to raise over $33,000 dollars which will be used by the Education Committee for education grants, scholarships, the Louisiana Children’s Museum, and the other great opportunities to promote education and the Petroleum Industry. We could not have achieved this goal without the contributions from all of our golf teams, corporate sponsors, hole sponsors, food and beverage sponsors, volunteers, and board members; thank you all very much!
Together, our teamwork has enabled us to develop the API Delta Chapter Golf Tournament into an event we can all be proud of and one so many of us want to be a part of. Thanks once again for your generosity and participation in this worthy event.
