FIELD CLERK I

JOB TITLE: FIELD CLERK I
JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs field accounting and other clerical work. Prepares various reports required by regulatory bodies. Prepares requisitions and purchase orders, checks invoices. Prepares or oversees Authorizations for Expenditures. Prepares various statistical reports relating to wells and production. Maintains correspondence and other files.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Business College training or equivalent experience. Average or above average math aptitude a must.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Approximately one to two years related work experience. Satisfactory typing skills.
ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Approximately one to two years related work experience. Satisfactory typing skills.
WHERE TO APPLY: Numerous major and independent oil companies and contract operating companies.

Announcements

The API Delta Chapter Board of Directors have approved a donation to a joint LSU-UNO levee monitoring project in the amount of $7500. The API Delta Chapter supports this project to predict and prevent levee failures. We also support the joint LSU -UNO collaboration and training of students in the use of state-of-the-art Near Surface Geophysics technologies. The API Delta Chapter joins our sister societies in support of this worthy project. Information on the Levee Monitoring Project can be obtained in the accompanying presentation.
