JUNIOR LEASE OPERATOR - OPERATING TEAM - OFFSHORE OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION

JOB TITLE: JUNIOR LEASE OPERATOR - OPERATING TEAM - OFFSHORE OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION
JOB DESCRIPTION: Adjust flow rates of oil and gas wells, check on the performance of gas lift wells, set fluid levels in process vessels, fill reservoirs on engine lubricators, fill chemical pump reservoirs, make minor repairs to level and process controllers, change recorder charts, gauge tanks, read and calculate recorder charts, perform minor maintenance on engines, compressors and pumps.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School education required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to swim, lift 100 lbs, and have average or above average math aptitude. Must take a pre-employment test.
ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Lease Operators can be promoted to Maintenance Operator, Head Maintenance Operator, Field Production Foreman, Production Foreman, Senior Production Foreman.
SALARY RANGE: $10.00/hr. up

Announcements

The API Delta Chapter Board of Directors have approved a donation to a joint LSU-UNO levee monitoring project in the amount of $7500. The API Delta Chapter supports this project to predict and prevent levee failures. We also support the joint LSU -UNO collaboration and training of students in the use of state-of-the-art Near Surface Geophysics technologies. The API Delta Chapter joins our sister societies in support of this worthy project. Information on the Levee Monitoring Project can be obtained in the accompanying presentation.
