ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

JOB TITLE: ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
JOB DESCRIPTION: The electrical design engineer will be involved in the design of all electrical systems for oil, gas, and water process systems, auxiliary machinery, fire protection and life support systems on offshore platforms. The engineer will prepare specifications for the purchase of all electrical equipment. A background in power generation and distribution is desired.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  
ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Engineering management is promoted from within the company.

Announcements

The API Delta Chapter Board of Directors have approved a donation to a joint LSU-UNO levee monitoring project in the amount of $7500. The API Delta Chapter supports this project to predict and prevent levee failures. We also support the joint LSU -UNO collaboration and training of students in the use of state-of-the-art Near Surface Geophysics technologies. The API Delta Chapter joins our sister societies in support of this worthy project. Information on the Levee Monitoring Project can be obtained in the accompanying presentation.
