ASSOCIATE ENGINEER

JOB TITLE: ASSOCIATE ENGINEER
JOB DESCRIPTION: To perform routine training assignments and gain experience in field operations, geological activities, and engineering functions relative to production operations and oil and gas reservoir development.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: B.S. degree in Engineering, preferably petroleum.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  
ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Promotions to more responsible engineering positions leading to either specialization in engineering or engineering supervisor and management.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Announcements

The API Delta Chapter Board of Directors have approved a donation to a joint LSU-UNO levee monitoring project in the amount of $7500. The API Delta Chapter supports this project to predict and prevent levee failures. We also support the joint LSU -UNO collaboration and training of students in the use of state-of-the-art Near Surface Geophysics technologies. The API Delta Chapter joins our sister societies in support of this worthy project. Information on the Levee Monitoring Project can be obtained in the accompanying presentation.
